Christa Kinshofer-Güthlein (born 24 January 1961) is a retired German alpine skier. She won a silver medal in the slalom event at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. Eight years later at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary Kinshofer won two more silver medals in the giant slalom and bronze in the slalom.〔(Christa Kinshofer ). sports-reference.com〕
Kinshofer started competing in alpine skiing in 1971. In 1979 she won the world cup in giant slalom, and was elected German Sportswoman of the Year. After the 1980 Olympics she competed briefly for the Netherlands, but returned to West Germany for the 1988 Olympics, after which she retired from skiing. Later she co-wrote a book ''Fit for Success'',〔Alfred J. Kremer and Christa Kinshofer (2001) ''Fit for Success''. Mi-Wirtschaftsbuch. ISBN 347824790X〕 and became an organizer of golf and ski events.〔
